Who we are

Outflow Studio is a Premiere Pro extension sold by Outflow Studio, Netherlands. Questions about this policy: [email protected].

What we store

  • Account: your email address, a referral code, the date you signed up, and, if you log in with Google, the email Google shares with us. Nothing else from your Google account.
  • Licence: which plan you bought, its status and renewal date, and Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers. We also keep a record of each payment (amount, currency, date, plan) for accounting. We never see or store card numbers; Stripe handles payment as the merchant of record.
  • Computers: a hashed identifier and the name of each computer where the extension is logged in, so the two-computer limit can be enforced. The extension stores its login token encrypted on your computer.
  • Usage statistics: the extension reports counts so we can see what to improve: which tools ran and how many times per day, how long a job took and how long the clip was, the length of an editing session and the jobs in it, whether a job failed or was cancelled together with the error text (file names, folders and email addresses are removed before it leaves your computer), the first tool you used, and a few settings choices such as quality or a preset. Once per computer it also reports the graphics card model and memory, CPU cores, RAM, and the Windows and Premiere Pro versions, so we know what hardware to test on. Nothing about your media, projects, transcripts or text is ever included. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the product working; you can switch all of it off in the extension under Settings › Share usage statistics, and it is deleted with your account.
  • Country: an approximate country for your account, and for a started download, so we can see where people use the panel. It comes from your browser's own region setting (or from the network edge when it tells us) and is stored as two letters, such as NL. We do not store your IP address and we do not look your address up anywhere.
  • Referrals: when someone buys through your referral link we record the purchase amount to calculate your reward.
  • Creator program: if you join it, the account names you post under, the links to the videos you add, their view counts and the screenshots of their statistics you upload. For YouTube videos we read the public view, like and comment counts from YouTube. Only we see the screenshots; they are deleted with your account.

What we do not do

  • Your media never leaves your computer. Transcription, audio separation, rendering and downloads run locally inside Premiere Pro.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers.
  • We do not send newsletters unless you opt in.

Third parties we rely on

Supabase (accounts and database, EU region), Stripe (payments, invoices, tax), Cloudflare (website hosting), and the YouTube Data API for the public counts of videos added to the creator program. Optional features in the extension call services you choose to use, such as Pexels, Freesound, Giphy or YouTube, directly from your computer.

Email

We email you about your account when something needs it: a welcome after a purchase, a payout if you are a partner, a reply to something you sent us. Three emails are reminders rather than necessities - one if your download never opened in Premiere, one if you signed up on a phone, and one the first time a free tool's three goes are used up. Each of those is sent once at most and carries a "Stop these emails" link; one click, no login, and you get no more of them. There is no newsletter and your address is never shared or sold.

Your rights

You can see your data on the account page, remove a computer by logging out inside the extension, cancel a subscription through the customer portal, and ask us to delete your account by email. We answer within 30 days. EU residents have the rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

We use only functional storage: your login session (Supabase) and, if you arrived through a referral link, a cookie with that code for 90 days. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why there is no consent banner. The website uses a session cookie for login and a 90-day cookie that remembers a referral code from the link you arrived through. No tracking cookies.
